Jalaram Trading Co. is a wholesale rice and wheat trading firm operating from Shop 73 at the APMC Market Yard, Anjar, Kutch, Gujarat. For three decades we have been buying grain in truckload quantities at the yard, grading it on the way in, and dispatching it to retailers, flour mills, food processors and exporters across India. The desk is led by Amit Thacker.
We don't mill, polish, or repackage. The skill in our business is lot selection — picking the right truckload at the right mandi, at the right moment, and moving it to a buyer who'll pay for that grade.
Today, our team of 40+ works across sourcing, grading, dispatch and accounts. We are licensed traders at seven APMC yards across Gujarat and neighbouring states, and source directly from farmers and commission agents in the basmati belt of Punjab and Haryana, the wheat belt of Madhya Pradesh, and the local Gujarat mandis.

We pay farmers within 48 hours of purchase and weigh on certified scales. No deductions, no games.
Honest weights & measures
Every consignment is weighed on a government-certified electronic weighbridge with printed weight slips.
Grading on intake
Every lot is visually graded, moisture-tested and lab-checked for foreign matter and broken %. Reference sample retained for 90 days.
On-time dispatch
98.6% on-time dispatch across road and rail freight for the last 3 years running.
Transparent communication
Daily mandi updates shared via WhatsApp groups with all active buyers. No hidden charges.

1995
Founded at the APMC Anjar with a single shop, one weighing scale, and a focus on honest trade.
2003
Began inter-state wheat procurement across Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Added the first small truck fleet.
2012
Crossed 25,000 MT in annual volume. Started multi-variety Basmati trading for export-oriented buyers.
2024
50,000+ MT annual volume, 600+ active buyers, presence in 15+ states, FSSAI & GST registered, licensed at 7 APMC yards.
